My Birthday Present

I've been dropping hints about having a photo session with our wedding attire for the past year. For our wedding, we didn't hire a wedding photographer (gasp!). We kept ourselves on a budget and thought it would be fine if a family member took the photos. Although he did a pretty good job, there was barely any formal photos of Mike and me together, the two people that mattered the most at this particular function ;)
For my birthday this year, Mike surprised me with a Day After photo session with Nick Abadilla. I was so excited that we were finally going to take wedding pics together after all this time! Not only did we have an awesome time at the photo shoot, we also made a new friend! Nick made us feel like were already family and we were put at ease instantly. Also, since he knew I was working on establishing myself as a photographer, he had some really great advice and a few pointers along the way. Thanks Nick...for everything!
