Wine and Food Wonderland

Not only does Mike cook like it's nobody's business, but he was also born and raised in wine and food wonderland!!! Which most people know as Napa Valley. Since his family still lives there, we get to go up there at least 3 times a year! We're very spoiled =)

Anyway, this time I decided to take my SLR and take advantage of the trip. We did the touristy thing and went to wineries, bakeries, and a fancy dinner...the works. I like a good wine, but I still have trouble deciphering the darn grape liquid. I sometimes try to pretend I know what's going on by using wine terminology, words like tannic, velvety, earthy, woody, etc... haha, I'm definitely not on my way to becoming a true wine aficionado. Regardless, the atmosphere and backdrop of Napa Valley is truly amazing! If you haven't been there yet, I promise you will not be disappointed!
