Marley and Lil' Rigs

Cooking is not something I am good at. I can follow a recipe but I cannot just whip things together the way my husband and mom do. If it weren't for them I'd be surviving on cheese and pickles (not together!).

While chomping on eggs benedict this morning(having brunch with girlfriends), I call my voicemail to check my messages...my mom is telling me to come over for lunch because she is making tostadas!!! Yumm! As you've probably guessed, my healthy diet doesn't include the weekends ;)

When I get to my parents' house, to my surprise, my relatives are there and I'm so happy to see them. Even though most of them live within 20 miles of me, it's so rare that we get together. Busy schedules are to blame. Here are a few candids of my niece and nephew, Marley and Little Rigo...
