The mighty Grand Canyon

Mike took me to the Grand Canyon this past weekend to get my mind off of "real life". We had such a great time except that we didn't get a chance to hike the trails of the mighty Grand Canyon because it was icy/snowy and we were wearing our regular tennis shoes :( It was the first time for both of us so we were totally amazed by the vastness and wonder of it all!

Please cut me some slack on the pics. They (meaning the people that write the brochures) tell you to try and avoid taking photos in the middle of the day, and what did I do? I took pics in the middle of the day. I'm giving you my excuse of why the pics look so drab and flat, definitely not giving justice to the mighty Grand Canyon. For that, I apologize.

My husband does not like to pose for photos, but he finally found a pose that he really liked and stuck with it. Do you see the trend? What a weirdo!!!
